Polkastarter is a platform for starting and managing IDO. IDO is a pre-launch token issuance, in which early projects will sell a limited number of tokens to whitelisted community members. For projects, Polkastarter can solve the problems of fund raising, community growth and sustainable token distribution. In addition, Polkastarter's fixed price transaction ensures that no community member can have an excessively large position in the token, thereby preventing volatility after the launch. For participants, Polkastarter provides early token access and project exposure. Projects with pre-launch access and low threshold prices are usually reserved for large investors. Polkastarter enables community members to access projects reviewed by the Polkastarter team as early as possible. POLS is a native functional token of Polkastarter, used in the following functions: Whitelisting in IDO: Community members cannot participate in IDO unless their address is whitelisted by the fund-raising project. The acquisition of the whitelist is random, but will be distributed in proportion to the number of POLS tokens held. If the user has 250 POLS in each address, he will get an admission ticket or ticket to enter the whitelist lottery. Liquidity mining: POLS token holders can provide liquidity for the ETH-POLS pool and BNB-POLS pool on Uniswap and PancakeSwap. Governance: Token holders need to pledge POLS in order to vote and submit proposals. Proposals are first discussed off-chain and then submitted as on-chain proposals. Each proposal on the chain will be reviewed and implemented by the Polkastater development and management team. The agreement consists of the following main components: Fixed price exchange: Fixed price exchange limits the amount of ETH or BNB that community users can exchange for project tokens. This mechanism can ensure that IDO participants cannot receive a large number of tokens early in the listing process, maintaining the purpose of decentralization and permissionless participation. Interoperability: Polkastarter is currently available on both Ethereum and Binance Smart Chain (BSC). Polkastarter strives to expand to more chains and provides opportunities for project and community members to participate in IDO.
